This 1-day, 8-hour course provides participants with essential skills for immediate trauma care. Training covers both basic and advanced techniques used nationwide by EMS and the U.S. military, preparing participants to treat and survive life-threatening injuries.

• Recognizing and controlling severe bleeding
   
• Proper use and limitations of tourniquets (including improvised)
   
• Wound packing and hemostatic dressings
   
• Pressure points and pressure dressings
   
• Airway management
   
• Shock recognition and treatment
   
• Hypothermia prevention
   
• Use of occlusive dressings!
